Legalization of documents for official procedures abroad.
Some documents issued in Cuba must be duly authenticated to be legally effective in the territory of The Bahamas.
The Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Havana offers the legalization service at its Consular Section. To legalize documents, users must follow the following steps:
- Users must certify their original documents at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba through the institutions authorized to do so: International Legal Consultancy Offices.
- Present yourself at the Embassy of The Bahamas with your identity and travel documents (passport and/or identity card) and the documents you wish to legalize (prior certification from MINREX).
- The cost of legalization is 480.00 Cuban pesos per document.
- If the procedure to be carried out abroad requires the documents to be translated, users must request the translation in a Cuban institution certified for this purpose. Legalizaciones de documentos para trámites oficiales en el exterior.
Algunos documentos emitidos en Cuba, deben estar debidamente certificados y legalizados para surtir efecto legal en el territorio de Las Bahamas.
La Embajada de la Mancomunidad de Las Bahamas en La Habana, certifica documentos en su sección Consular. Para legalizar sus documentos, los usuarios deberán seguir los siguientes pasos:
- Certificar sus documentos originales en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de la República de Cuba a través de las instituciones habilitadas para ello. Ejemplo: Oficinas de Consultoría Jurídica Internacional.
- Presentarse en la Embajada de Las Bahamas con sus documentos de identidad y viaje (pasaporte y/o carné de identidad) y los documentos que desea legalizar (previa certificación del MINREX).
- El costo de la legalización es de 480.00 pesos cubanos por documento.
- Si el trámite a realizar en el exterior requiere que sus documentos estén traducidos, los usuarios deberán solicitar la traducción en alguna institución cubana avalada para tal efecto.
